EVENT SAFETY RULES
Anyone not abiding by these rules will be expelled from the event for safety
of the other participants.
- NO un-registered walk-ons.
- NO ONE under 16 will be under arms.
- Discharging or clearing of fouled weapons will be granted by the Unit
Commanders only, and only in a safe area.
- Union and Confederate officers shall be responsible for the conduct and
safe behavior of their respective troops under their charge.
- Ramrods will not be used during the battle.
- Civil War Weapons ONLY (1800-1865)
- Knives, bayonets, and swords will be kept in their scabbards unless it
has been pre-arranged.
- No stapled cartridges will be permitted.
- No firing of "Live Ammunition" will be permitted.
- Pistol wads shall not be used as filler.
- No hand-to-hand engagements permitted.
- No defective weapons shall be allowed on the field all weapons will be
inspected prior to battle by company.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed.
- KEEP THE PARK AREA AND YOUR CAMPS CLEAN OF TRASH ! ! ! ! !
- Authenticity is a must in Union and Confederate camps. In
addition, all reenactors in camp area are asked to stay in uniform/costume
until 8:00 PM.
- Artillary no flour or filler.
- All weapons are subject to approval.
